This place is absolutely beautiful! The animals are so friendly and well taken care of. I brought my family and a few close friends (12 of us) to their Easter event (eggfest) and holy cow!! Saw only 300ish people registered for the event via Facebook, but figured more would show up w/o Registering…I figured maybe 800-1000 people. They had over 4,000 people show up! So they weren’t prepared for that! Only 15 people had volunteered. They were short handed, but let me tell you. It was great! The DJ was fun, energetic and played awesome music. The drinks were delicious. The food was amazing. The snow cones were nice and refreshing and the lemonade was so good. They had Cinderella and Spider-Man in the Easter bunny and my daughter was in heaven! Yeah it was hot outside but they had plenty of shady trees and places to sit to cool down. I got overheated and had to sit for a few minutes and one of the volunteers actually gave me water which I thought was so kind. This was their first Easter event and only their second public event and I think they killed it! The first few times it’s trial and error. And they can only improve from here. I will definitely be at the fall event in any event in the future. And I definitely recommend you get this place a try if you’re getting married this place is an absolute gorgeous venue.
I learned about Scars Farms after an event page for a past carriage shoot was suggested to me on Facebook! I had been hoping to arrange a bridal photoshoot with a carriage and Scars Events was more than happy to accommodate my wish! I was able to reserve the property for early morning to take photos with my family and bridesmaids. They even arranged for Cinderella to make an appearance! Thank you Scars Events for being my Fairy Godparent for my wedding photoshoot!
We had our wedding here and it was absolutely wonderful. Michael was beyond helpful and willing to accommodate with anything that was needed. The field of wildflowers were perfect for sunset pictures on the lake. Highly recommend!
We Went To The Easter Event Today, While I Did Get Frustrated With The Disrespectful People That Attended It & Didnt Listen To A Word The Coordinators Were Saying, We Had A Great Time Before & After The Egg Hunt. We Appreciate How Hard Everyone Worked There. Food Was Great, Dj Was Amazing, It Was So Great Seeing The Animals, & They Had Such A Variety Of Activities To Do. The Easter Egg Hunt Wasn’t As Great As Expected Because The People Attending Did Not Listen To The Coordinator Or Correct Their Kids When They Ambushed The Field, So The Hunt Didnt Last Long. That Had Nothing To Do With The Farm Or Coordinators Because It Was The Peoples Fault. We Appreciate Yall So Much For Hosting This & Look Forward To Seeing Yall Back For Future Events!
